West Haven police officers saved a man's life Saturday morning after pulling him out of a burning car following a crash.
Around 2 a.m. Saturday, police responded to reports of a crash along Derby Avenue. When officers arrived, they said they found the vehicle crashed into a utility pole, and the driver was still inside as the vehicle burst into flames.
The West Haven Fire Department was still en route, and officers were forced to break a window to pull the driver out from the inside.
The driver, Rory Frazier, of West Haven, was brought to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. After being treated, police arrested Frazier for several motor vehicle violations.
