A section of Main Street in Manchester has been reopened after it was closed by emergency officials when someone discovered a suspicious package Monday morning.
The discovery was made before 10 a.m. in the area of 702 Main St., and police responded to investigate. As a result of the discovery, the area surrounding the package was taped off and the bomb squad was called in.
Emergency officials investigated the item and deemed it to be safe just after 11 a.m.
The road was reopened shortly after the all clear was given.
