The National Labor Relations Board has found Springfield's Square One in violation of multiple unfair labor practices.
The board discovered that the childcare provider had unlawfully set up cameras and implemented other policies without notifying or bargaining with their employee's union.
A judge also found that Square One interrogated employees about their communications with their union reps, and unreasonably delayed responding to union information requests.
They also unlawfully fired an employee for signing a union card.
A judge ordered Square One to reinstate that employee along with other employees who were illegally excluded from coverage by the union contract since March of 2011.
