Posted: Updated:
NORWICH, CT (WFSB) -

A bomb scare at a group home in Norwich Friday morning forced the evacuation of one of the city's neighborhoods.

Members of the state police tactical unit swept the building on Broad Street after a resident allegedly claimed there was a bomb in the closet.

However, nothing was discovered.

After a three investigation, all the residents and neighbors were allowed to return to their homes.
