The Connecticut State Police along with officials from Department of Energy and Environmental Protection continue to look for a despondent man, who went missing at Hammonasset State Park in Madison Thursday.
John Lecza, 56, of East Haven was last seen in Milford on Tuesday, police said.
Lecza's car was found at Hammonasset State Park on Wednesday night and that is when state police and DEEP officials started searching the surrounding area.
On Thursday and Friday crews searched the state park with Troop 1 and K-9 teams. The park was closed to visitors during the search.
DEEP officials and state police are expected to resume their search on Saturday.
Lecza is behind described as a white man, who is 5'9" and weighs 220 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray sweater, police said.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the East Haven Police Department at 203-468-3820.
