(CNN) -- Just because Jimmy Fallon's bringing new competition into the 11:35 timeslot doesn't mean Jimmy Kimmel can't keep things friendly.
The ABC late-night host, who's new to the 11:35 neighborhood himself, apparently congratulated Fallon on his future "Tonight Show" takeover on Thursday with a sizable spread from a New York deli.
Fallon, who's riding out his tenure as the host of "Late Night" in the interim, shared a picture of the good eats on Instagram.
"Thank you Jimmy Kimmel and staff for the 2nd Ave Deli lunch. Class act," Fallon captioned the image, before dropping his punchline. "Watch Jimmy every night at 12:37 only on NBC."
Kimmel hasn't responded at the time of this post, but given the kindly humorous tweet he fired off on Wednesday, the day Fallon's new appointment was announced, it's likely safe to say that all's forgiven.
"Congratulations to my dear, sweet @jimmyfallon," Kimmel tweeted. "A formidable rival and an incredible lover."
