Rebuilding Together joined forces Saturday with Bay Path College to take on the project of fixing up a home on Marion Street.
This was the second year in a row Bay Path has worked on a Rebuilding Together house.
Homeowner Marvenia Shubrick, whose oldest daughter has dealt with medical problems over the past five years, marveled at all of the work by the students.
"Look at this house, it is beautiful," said Shubrick. "They turned 'miss red' into a beautiful, gray, classy, historical home."
"It is really an important value at Bay Path to offer community service to our community," said Dr. Carol Leary, Bay Path College President. "We are thrilled to be here and I have seen the transformation."
Saturday's project was just a preview of what is in store for Saturday, April 27, which is National Rebuilding Day.
Rebuilding Together and its volunteers plan to continue their work on an entire block on Tyler Street.
