Man injured in motorcycle crash in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

Police are investigating an accident in Plainfield where a 26-year-old man crashed a motorcycle into a car Saturday.

It happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Norwich road and Lathrop road.

The driver of the car, Anthony Madison, told police that as he was making a turn, when he felt the motorcycle hit the car. Madison then saw the motorcycle driver, Stanley Paplasky, was lying in the middle of the road, but alert and conscious.

Paplasky was not wearing a helmet. He was transported to William W. Backus Hospital.
