A crash was reported on Interstate 84 in Tolland Wednesday morning, shutting down two lanes of the busy interstate for hours.
According to the Tolland Fire Department, the crash between the vehicle and tractor-trailer was reported just before exit 68 just after 7:30 a.m.
When emergency officials arrived at the scene, they said they found a car on its roof, and was blocking the passing and traveling lanes with the unidentified female driver trapped inside.
Crews were able to get her out of the car and she was brought to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
There was very little damage to the tractor-trailer.
Two lanes of the interstate were blocked for hours while crews worked to investigate and then remove the crash from the road.
The condition of the woman is unknown.
