School bus crashes in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

No students were seriously injured after a bus crash in Hartford Wednesday afternoon.

According to school officials, 12 children from the Achievement 1st Academy were on a bus when it collided with Rav 4 at the Wethersfield Avenue and Wyllys Street.

Students were examined while still on the bus, and were given ice packs. Only one student complained of a mild headache.

The front end of the bus sustained serious damage to the front end of the vehicle.

School officials told Eyewitness News that the bus driver was not charged, but the SUV driver was charged.
