BETHEL, CT (WFSB) -

A business owner in Bethel was arrested Friday, accused of sexually assaulting two of his former employees.

Antonio Fernandes, 50, of Bethel turned himself into police and was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault.

According to the Connecticut Sectary of the State's website, Fernandes owns Tonelli's on Grassy Plain Street in Bethel.

Police said the restaurant owner was charged after an investigation was launched by police from complaints by former employees that said they were sexually assaulted by him.

Fernandes was released on a $200,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned in Danbury Superior Court on April 23.
