Connecticut's 169 cities and towns are competing against each other to promote tourism in the state.
"Still Revolutionary" - That's the phrase Connecticut is banking on to bring more people into the state. Visit Connecticut began the multimillion-dollar campaign last year and began running ads on TV, radio and in print.
"There's a lot of stuff coming up here in Connecticut, so maybe it will work," said Julio Gutierrez of Hartford.
This latest push for tourism is now on Facebook, and officials are asking Connecticut residents to vote for their favorite town.
That town will then be featured in a two-minute video on the social media site, which is designed to draw more people to the state.
Visit Connecticut is now well into their spring campaign and focused in on markets such as New York and Philadelphia to bring in more visits and tax revenue to Connecticut.
"Anything that brings people to Connecticut is a good idea," said Dianne Zabor of Bristol. "It's good for business. It's good for people, promotes the state. I'm game for that."
So far, the top five cities are as follows:
People who vote are entered into a free four-night Connecticut getaway.
The campaign runs through Aug. 3.
