SOMERS, CT (WFSB) -

Somers High School went into "soft lockdown" after a bullet was found on the campus Tuesday.

Students were allowed to walk through the hallways and go to their classrooms during the soft lockdown. However, no one was allowed to enter or leave the building, school officials said.

Police searched the building and nothing was discovered.

School officials said the building was in lockdown for a brief time and students were able to return to their normal, daily routine after it.

Students will be dismissed at their normally scheduled time.
