45 bags of heroin seized during traffic stop in Clinton

CLINTON, CT (WFSB) -

During a routine motor vehicle stop Thursday morning, police arrested two women and seized dozens of bags of heroin.

Officers stopped a vehicle being driven by Shea Decsare, 39, of Clinton on Oak Ridge Lane in town around 11:30 a.m.

Police have been watching Decsare's home for more than a year because there were reports of drug dealing.

Investigators determined that Decsare had just sold drugs to a passenger in the vehicle, 31-year-old Caitlin Creeron, before the motor vehicle was stopped.

Police seized 45 bags of heroin, 25 bags of crack cocaine, a crack pipe and needles from the vehicle.

Decsare was arrested and charged with two counts of sale of narcotics as well as possession of narcotics (cocaine) with intent to sell, possession of narcotics (heroin) with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school and conspiracy to sell narcotics.

Creeron was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics.

Decsare was held on $25,000 and arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court Friday.
