Traffic in both directions on Interstate 91 near Exit 24 in Rocky Hill was backed up Wednesday afternoon because of flipped motor vehicle.
The left southbound lane was closed just before 4 p.m. after a car flipped over its roof, police said.
The state highway reopened around 4:30 p.m. after the car was removed from the center median.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
