WESTBROOK, CT (WFSB) -

State police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect in an armed bank robbery in Westbrook Monday afternoon.

According to police, a masked man with a short and stocky build entered the First Niagara Bank, which is located in the 100 block of Boston Post Road, around 1:30 p.m.

The man armed with a handgun demanded money from the teller, police said.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

State police said they believe the suspect is wanted in connection with bank robberies in Salem, Durham and Haddam.

Anyone with any information about the suspect or robbery is asked to call state police at 860-399-2100.
