Thanks to our generous viewers, the FOX6 and Salvation Army H2O 4 OKC water drive is a success! Your donations have filled two tractor trailers with water that will head to those in need.
At this time, we have reached our capacity and will not be able to accomodate more donations. Thank you to everyone who donated! If you have water that is already bought, we suggest contacting your local food bank, homeless shelter or womens shelter and ask if they need water.

The City of Birmingham will collect items for Oklahoma. Donors can bring band aids, gloves, nylon rope, rakes, shovels, rubbing alcohol, personal care items, tarps, air mattresses and wheelbarrows to Boutwell Auditorium located at 1930 8th Avenue North.
Donations can be dropped off Thursday, May 23 through Saturday, May 25 and then again Tuesday, May 28 through Thursday, May 30. Hours of collection will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday. Christian Service Mission will transport the items to Oklahoma.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office has set up a collection point for food items to be sent to Oklahoma through Food4Disaster.org. Until Monday, May 27, you can drop off the following items at 400 W. 8th St., Anniston, Alabama:
Aluminum Pans and lids
Large packs of Paper Towels
Gloves for Food Prep
Plastic Table cloths
Operation BBQ Relief in Tuscaloosa is accepting donations so their crews can cook meals for those in Oklahoma. You can bring aluminum foil, aluminum foil pans, napkins and utensils to Fire Station One on Greensboro Avenue and 15th Street between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Visit their Facebook page for updates and ways to donate money.
Toomer's for Tuscaloosa is organizing several drop-off spots for donations. They recommend that people donate gift cards, not clothes since the cards will be easier to mail. They also note that none of the drop-off spots will accept used clothing.
