SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) -

A crash in South Windsor that killed two teens and sent three others to the hospital Saturday night remains under investigation.

Police were called to Abbe Road between Roberts Drive and Griffen Road at about 8 p.m. Saturday.

Brooke Wormstedt, 15, of East Windsor, and Matthew Masse, 18, of Vernon, died in the crash. Both were in the back seat at the time of the accident.

The other people injured in the car included the driver, Sarah Ballard, 19, of South Windsor; Christina Huppe, 17, of South Windsor; and Megan Barnaby, 16, of East Windsor. There's no word on the condition of the hospitalized passengers.

Vernon Superintendent Mary Conway sent a letter to parents Sunday, letting the community know that support services will be available through the Vernon Youth Services Bureau starting Monday at 10 a.m. to noon.

Counselors will also be at Rockville High School Tuesday.

South Windsor police Chief Matthew Reed believes speed may have been a factor in the crash.

Metro Traffic Service and South Windsor police are investigating the crash.
