As Andrea moves east, we still have a chance for afternoon storms

Tropical Storm Andrea is moving up the east coast, and should reach well into Virginia by later this evening.  As this happens, she'll pull the heavy rains our of our area slowly, but that doesn't mean a dry rest of the day.

We should get into the mid 70s to low 80s this afternoon, with a few peeks of sunshine here and there.  But, a weak cold front off to our west is expected to cross the Carolinas, giving us a chance for a few more showers, and a possible storm, later in the day.  Our Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 6:00pm.  Through the overnight, we should dry out as high pressure sets up for the weekend.

Saturday, we'll see a general mix of partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures back in the mid 80s Upstate.  Through the afternoon, we will still have enough moisture around to pop in an isolated storm, so keep that in mind when making afternoon plans.  Sunday continues much in the same fashion, with partly cloudy skies and an isolated storm possible.

Another cold front is expected to approach the Upstate on Monday, bringing us our next rain-maker and starting the week off on soggy note.  Have a great weekend!
