The employee that was captured on video was identified as Angelica Rivera, and she was arrested and charged in connection with the abuse July 12.
Police said Stephanie Jones was the assistant manager at the time of the abuse at the home on King Street and became a suspect. According to the East Hartford Police Department, witnesses claimed Jones knew of the abuse at the home and had video recordings of staff abusing the residents.
The recordings were saved to various electronic devices, which were found at her home on Tolland Street.
As a result of the information that was discovered, a warrant was applied for and issued for her home.
The recordings were seized as evidence in her role in inciting the abuse.
She was arrested Tuesday and was charged with two counts of inciting injury to persons and was released on two $250,000 non-surety bonds.
