Body identified as missing New Milford photographer

BRIDGEWATER, CT (WFSB) -

The state's medical examiner confirmed that a body found in Lake Lillinonah in Bridgewater was a New Milford wedding photographer and he died of an accidental drowning.

Authorities confirmed the body of Eric Langlois, 33, was located  by someone on a dock at 100 Lake Lillinonah North late Tuesday morning.

That location was across from Lovers Leap State Park, where a search has been ongoing for Langlois.

Langlois was reported missing by his wife, Amber Langlois, on June 11. She said he had fallen off his bike Monday and went into the Lake Lillinonah, but was able to safely make it to shore.

On Tuesday, Langlois had gone back to the lake to look for his bicycle and had not been since. 

The bicycle that Langlois went looking for was never located.

Eric Langlois was a well-known wedding photographer.Family and friends, who many helped with the search for him of held a vigil for Langlois Monday night at Lover's Leap Bridge.
