Federal authorities have arrested a U.S. citizen on suspicion of attempting to smuggle more than 250 pounds of marijuana through the Port of Douglas.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers apprehended the 19-year-old man after a CBP narcotics detection K-9 alerted officers to 37 packages of marijuana.
