The future of the Phoenix Coyotes remains unclear.
Arizona hockey fans want to know where the team will end up.
The Glendale city council held a special meeting Friday to discuss a proposed deal that would keep the team in the Valley.
The group that wants to buy the team is asking for $15 million a year for the next 15 years.
It's working to figure out how to make up the difference, from the $6 million the city has budgeted to run the arena.
"We don't have the $15 million. If you don't have the money, you don't spend it, and that's something that you as taxpayers, you need to think about," council member Norma Alvarez said.
Council members are expected to vote on the proposed deal on Tuesday.
If it doesn't pass, there's a good chance the team will move out of Arizona.
