Fire crews are investigating what might caused a massive fire at the St. Nicolas Parish in Danbury on Saturday afternoon.
Crews were called to the church around 2p.m. and were able to save some items from the blaze.
According to the Danbury fire chief, the flames were hard to put out which is common in church fires due to the churches being large open structures.
Fire crews are still on scene looking for hot spots and what may have cause the blaze.
