Officials continue crash investigation

LYME, CT (WFSB) -

Connecticut's Environmental Conservation police continue to investigate a crash which injured four teens Friday night.

According to police, a 1990 Chevrolet pickup struck a tree in the state forest causing injuries to the teens.  A 17-year-old male operator from Waterford, and a 17-year-old female passenger from Waterford were transported to Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Clinic in Essex, were treated and released.

Jaymee Holt, 19 of Waterford was airlifted to Hartford Hospital, and is now at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford with no life-threatening injuries.

Carl Kampfer,19 of East Lyme was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, and is in serious condition.
