Bish family launches new campaign to find killer

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Molly Bish was abducted from her lifeguard post at Comins Pond on June 27, 2000. Her sister Heather came up with an idea for a campaign called "Somebody Knows Something". The campaign called for fliers to be put up all over the state.

Her mother Magi Bish said this was in honor of what would have been Molly's 30th birthday August 2.

Her killer is still on the loose. Police have questioned a few people about her murder including former Southbridge resident Rodney Stanger. He was convicted of murdering his girlfriend in Florida in 2010 and sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Molly's remains were found in June of 2003, scattered in the woods five miles from her home. Her remains were buried on what would have been her 20th birthday.

The Bish family hopes someone will come forward with information. They were asking residents in all 351 cities and towns in the state to post the new flier. They were working Thursday to put the flier up on the website mollybish.org
