3 pedestrians, driver injured during crash in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Three people were injured after being hit by a car while standing in line outside a church in Hartford Monday afternoon.

According to the police, the crash occurred in the 500 block of Farmington Avenue at 12:41 p.m. when a 76-year-old woman hit three people standing in line for a Foodshare program.

The three pedestrians and the vehicle's driver were all taken to St. Francis Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by police and investigators are determining if charges will be filed.
