A Tennessee musician is nearing the end of a record-breaking run across the country to raise money for Alzheimer's Disease.
Gabriel Redding ran his latest leg from Albany to Tifton Monday.
It is one of the final portions of his run that started in June in California and ends Friday in St. Simons.
His 43 day trip is set to be a world record with Redding averaging 60 miles a day.
Redding is doing this run in honor of his grandfather who has Alzheimer's.
He says thunderstorms in the south and heat in the west have made his run very challenging.
