Officials are still working to determine exactly what the powdery substance discovered on board a Jet Blue aircraft Monday night was.
A flight attendant on Jet Blue flight 460 from Ft. Lauderdale noticed the white powder inside the plane's bathroom as it was getting ready to land Monday night.
The plane taxied to the gate where the passengers were released around 8:30 p.m., but the crew had go through a decontamination shower after the flight, according to airport officials.
Jet Blue said 135 passengers and five crew members were on board the flight.
A State police K-9 was brought to the airport to help with the investigation.
The plane was taken to a remote section of the airport after all the passengers were removed and airport officials said Jet Blue will be handling the investigation.
