Silver Alerts issued for missing Hartford teenagers

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Connecticut State Police issued Silver Alerts for two 14-year-old teenagers missing from Hartford. 

Destiny Humphrey was last seen on Mangolia Street on July 4, while Anahicha Mendez has been missing since July 8, police said. Mendez was last seen on Scarbrough Road.

Mendez was described as 5'5" and weighs 140 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

She was wearing blue tank top, white shorts, white tennis shoes and bathing suit underneath at the time of her disappearance, police said.

Humphrey was described as 5'2" and weighs 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police could not provide a clothing description.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Hartford police at 860-757-4236.
