I-395 in Putnam shut down after crash

PUTNAM, CT (WFSB) -

All the southbound lanes on Interstate 395 in Putnam between exits 99 and 97 are shut down after a jackknifed tractor-trailer crash.

I-395 is expected to be closed for about four hours while crews work to clear the debris, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

It is unclear if anyone was seriously injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by state police.
