7 Hartford residents charged with prostitution

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Seven women were arrested on prostitution charges during a "quality of life" operation in Hartford Thursday.

Police conducted a citywide operation and arrested the following Hartford residents:

  • Maria Rivera, 32,
  • Mona Rosa, 48,
  • Jessica Lopez, 36,
  • Cynthia James, 54,
  • Sharonda Graham, 37,
  • Teshemia Gay, 51,
  • Lymarie Nieves, 32, 

All the women except for Rosa have been arrested previously in the Hartford area. Graham has 24 previous arrests and Rivera has 20.

The women were all taken to Hartford Community Court, where they received social services, if needed.
