A worker at the federal prison for women in Danbury has pleaded guilty to having sex with an inmate.
The Connecticut Post reports (http://bit.ly/13FEweW ) that 45-year-old Steven Wolff faces between 10 and 16 months in a men's prison when he is sentenced in October. He pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court.
Prosecutors say Wolff, a system repair foreman at the federal correctional institution for women, engaged in multiple sexual encounters with the inmate in 2011 on a blanket in the prison's boiler room, while another inmate stood guard outside.
Prosecutors say Wolff provided the two women with chocolate, makeup, hair dye, medications and greeting cards.
They say they matched DNA from the blanket to both Wolff and the inmate, whose name has not been released.
