A 20-person fire crew from Connecticut is bound for Montana to help battle wildfires in the western part of that state.
The crew of 14 Department of Energy and Environmental Protection firefighters and six local firefighters is traveling Tuesday will be deployed for up to two weeks.
The firefighters are heading to Montana's Lolo National Forest as part of a reciprocal aid program operated by the U.S. Forest Service.
Last month a Connecticut crew was sent to northern Quebec to help fight wildfires for 12 days.
