Dump truck wreck closes I-40 in Mount Juliet

MOUNT JULIET, TN (WSMV) -

Mount Juliet police report I-40 East is closed after a dump truck collided with an interstate barrier.

Police said that all lanes were blocked after the wreck near mile marker 226.

The dump truck was removed from the roadway around 2:35 p.m. I-40 should be reopened after drivers were diverted off at the Mount Juliet Road exit.

There were no injuries reported.
