Twin sisters who are both attorneys in the Phoenix area are to be featured in the TLC season premier episode of Say Yes to the Dress Friday night.

"We are definitely not the stuffy lawyers America is used to, which is what I think will make us entertaining to watch," says recently married Amy Pokora.

Pokora is an attorney who specializes in civil litigation claims, including personal injury. Her twin sister, Emily Wilfinger, works right down the street. Wilfinger also practices mainly civil litigation cases, including medical malpractice.

At one point the sisters worked at the same firm.

"Us twins appeared in court together before the judge on the same legal case. The judge was beyond amused," said Pokora.

Wilfinger was married in Cancun in November 2012, and the day after the wedding, Pokora's boyfriend and law partner, Rob Lewis, proposed to her.

Pokora and Lewis were married in June at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix.

The couple amusingly appears as @LawyerKen44 and @LawyerBarbie44 on Twitter.

Two months prior to the wedding in March, TLC notified Pokora they had selected her to appear on the popular show, Say Yes to the Dress.

"The show follows a bride-to-be like myself in the selection of their perfect wedding dress," said Pokora.

The sisters already had planned a trip to New York City to choose a wedding dress from Kleinfeld Bridal. Pokora found out the day before they left she had been chosen for the show.

"My twin sister has been my best friend since I was born and I'm sure she knows more about me than my now husband, so her opinion mattered the most in my decision making process," said Pokora.

Both sisters hold law degrees from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and Business in Minneapolis.

The show airs on TLC Friday, August 16 at 6 p.m. MST.
