Jet lands safely in Mesa after scare with nose gear

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

A jet with five people on board landed safely in Mesa, after fears that the nose gear was malfunctioning.

The pilot put the plane down in a delicate landing at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport just minutes before noon.

The aircraft was forced to burn fuel before the landing. No equipment malfunctioned and no injuries were reported.
