Enfield police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a CVS Pharmacy Sunday night.
Police said they were called out to the CVS on Hazard Avenue around 11 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports that the store had been held up by a male suspect.
Police said the suspect walked into the store and back to the pharmacy, where he showed a gun.
The suspect, who is described as a Hispanic man wearing jeans, a black jacket and red hat, made off with a large amount of narcotics, police said.
Police said he then jumped out the drive-thru window and fled on foot.
Officers set up a perimeter and attempted to track the suspect using a K9; however, they believe he may have got into a waiting car.
There is no word on if this robbery is connected to a similar robbery at a Walgreens in Manchester, which occurred earlier in the month.
