A fire captain from New Haven accused of pulling out a gun during an argument has had his case continued.
Police said Richard Rife was arguing with another firefighter inside the Lombard Street Firehouse earlier this month when he admitted to pulling out the weapon.
Rife is now facing reckless endangerment charges and has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation into the incident.
Rife had his case continued until Sept. 25.
