HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The suspect accused of killing a East Hartford man outside a popular Hartford nightclub last week is expected to appear in court Wednesday.

Hartford police said 25-year-old Angle Morales of New Haven fired several shots after a dispute broke out at the Up Or On The Rocks nightclub early Friday morning.

Police said 21-year-old Miguel Delgado died from his injuries.

Police said the fight broke out over a spilled drink.

Morales is charged with murder and criminal possession of a firearm.

This is the second deadly shooting at the club in a month. Early in August, 19-year-old Brian Simpe was shot and killed after trying to break up a fight. Police arrested Mike Cruz in connection with his death.

Cruz is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday to answer to murder charges.

The nightclub remains closed while security issues are addressed. City officials are telling the club owner he will need to hire at least two officers to be inside the club if he wants to reopen.
