A gay and lesbian poster in a Rutherford County classroom will stay down for now.
The Rutherford County School Board heard from parents and students on Wednesday night, some who wanted the poster to stay up, others who thought it should not be in the school.
The poster was in support of a safe-zone for gay students and their friends at Central Magnet School.
The school board said they want to make sure bullying doesn't happen to any student and all students should feel safe at school.
