The robbery charges against former Tennessee Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck were dismissed on Friday.
Prosecutors decided to drop the charges because of a lack of evidence, and what they called inconsistencies among witnesses and credibility issues.
"Justice has been served. From the jump, I've kinda had to be quiet about this, but at the end of the day, maybe I was the victim," Bulluck said.
Bulluck was arrested early in the morning on Aug. 25 after Habib Hashi, who was a driver for United Cab Company, said the former NFL player reached into his car and took $100 from Hashi's front pocket.
Hashi said he has received threats since the incident. Since the alleged theft, Hashi's credibility has been brought into question.
"I believe that this guy, he's got money, he can do whatever he wants. He's above the law. So that's why I don't get justice," Hashi said.
Bulluck was an analyst for the first three Titans' preseason games, but he was pulled from the broadcast of the final preseason game after the incident occurred.
Bulluck's defense was prepared to put the cab driver's former employer at Yellow Cab on the stand. Previously, that former boss said Hashi's nickname was "Pinocchio" because he had made up lies in the past.
