An East Granby man was arrested Friday in connection with armed robbery in Simsbury in August.

A man, who was later identified as 40-year-old Scott R. Berg, entered the Sunrise Convenience Store, which is at 1225 Hopmeadow St. the evening on Aug. 22.

Berg demanded money from the clerk while holding a knife, and then fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Berg was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree larceny. He is being held on $250,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned in Enfield Superior Court on Monday.
