Benefits of Virtualization at Customer Premises to be Highlighted at Major Carrier Ethernet & SDN Events in Europe and the U.S.
RAD announced today that it will be introducing enhanced Service Assured Access Solutions with Distributed NFV at Ethernet & SDN Expo 2013 in New York, at Ethernet World 2013 in Prague and at Broadband World Forum in Amsterdam.
RAD will share with industry leaders its vision of how virtualized functions at the customer premises along with Service Assured Access based on dedicated Layer 2/3 demarcation capabilities will accelerate service deployments and network upgrades, leading to increased revenue opportunities and lower TCO.

Dr. Gittik will speakon Wednesday, October 2 at the Ethernet & SDN Expo in New York. He will address Distributed NFV in a panel discussion titled "Realistic Near-Term and Longer-Term Dynamic Services and Applications Enabled by Carrier SDN and NFV."
At Broadband World Forum, RAI Center in Amsterdam, Dr. Gittik will appear in a panel session titled "Re-Architecting and Eliminating Complexity in the Network." The interactive discussion takes place on Wednesday, October 23, and is part of the session Virtualization and the Cloud: Service Agility and Network Virtualization.
On Tuesday, October 1 at Ethernet World in Prague, Ilan Tevet, head of the service provider line of business at RAD, will discuss "Working with Old and New Services," outlining best practices for operationally and financially sound migration to next generation network, as well as for a seamless introduction of new services.
