Naugatuck police are searching for a suspect they say robbed a convenience store on Spencer Street on Saturday night.
According to police, a white male entered the Stop and Save convenience store located at 168 Spencer Street, Naugatuck, CT.
Police said the male displayed a knife and threatened the clerk. The male stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled to a waiting vehicle parked on Lewis Street.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall wearing a black, long sleeve shirt, dark long pants, sun glasses and a black knit hat with a logo on the front, possibly a Carhartt hat.
Police said the vehicle the suspect fled in was described as a black foreign vehicle, possibly a Toyota, with a primer colored trunk. The driver of the vehicle was described as a white male with dark, curly hair.
