Man killed in Saturday night shooting in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Springfield police continue to investigate the murder of a man Saturday night.

Police say a 29-year-old man was shot and killed just after 9 p.m.

Police responded to the La Favorita Mini Mart after reports of shots fired and found one male victim inside suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.

He was taken to Baystate Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police say there were multiple witnesses but they all say they don't know who pulled the trigger.

They are not releasing his identity at this time.
