Shots fired at Statesboro home

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

Statesboro police are investigating shots fired into a home Sunday night on Johnson Street.

Police responded to the home at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Witnesses at the home told police that suspects drove past the home, fired several gunshots out of a car window, and kept going toward West Jones Avenue.

The vehicle was described as a red, newer model, four-door sedan. There were bystanders in front of the home at the time, but no one was injured. Three vehicles at the residence were damaged by the gunfire.

The case is under investigation.
