A Buckeye man was arrested Monday after he told police he inappropriately touched a child on two separate occasions, court paperwork stated.
Child Protective Services, acting on an anonymous tip, notified Buckeye police that the man had touched the girl in a sexual manner.
When officers arrived at the home, Gerald Richardson, 38, confessed to the two incidents, according to the court document.
Richardson said in 2009, he went into the bathroom while the girl, then 8 years old, was bathing and touched one of her private parts three times, court paperwork said.
He said the second time was while they were wrestling in the living room, police said. While picking her up, he fell and the child landed on top of him, officers said. He said he intentionally grabbed her two breasts, the court document stated.
Richardson was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on two counts of child molestation and one count of sexual abuse.
