PD: Man charged with selling drugs at Plainfield motel

PLAINFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

A 49-year-old resident is accused of selling narcotics at a motel in the Central Village section of Plainfield.

Authorities executed a search warrant at the Central Village Knights Inn, located at 66 East Main St., around 4 p.m. on Wednesday. 

Following a lengthy investigation, police arrested Jeffrey S. Cote and charged him with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cote is being held on a $25,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned at Danielson Superior Court on Thursday.
