The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a Canadian man died in a semi rollover accident on northbound I-75 in Wood County.
The crash happened at 5:27 a.m. Thursday south of Bowling Green, just before the US-6 exit.
The driver, 59-year-old Wayne Wyatt, of Ontario, was driving a Volvo commercial tractor-trailer. State Patrol says he traveled off the right side of the highway, striking a ditch and overturning the semi on its left side.
Wyatt was taken to the hospital, where shortly after, he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation. State Patrol says they do not believe Thursday morning's foggy conditions played a factor in the crash.
